For our Southern locations, we’re excited to partner with Foodie Fit’s Prepped for School initiative, a program dedicated to providing essential school supplies to Title 1 elementary schools through crowdfunding and local business sponsorship. And for our Pahrump location, we are thrilled to be partnering with Project 4 Humanity, an organization dedicated to bridging the gap for the most vulnerable in our society, including those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity.

Equipping Students for Success
Foodie Fit’s Prepped for School initiative is driven by a profound mission: to support Title 1 elementary schools by ensuring every student has the necessary school supplies each year. With more funds raised, more students and schools can be reached, making a tangible difference in the educational experience of many young learners.
The Impact of Prepped for School
Last year, thanks to the generous contributions from the community and local businesses, the Prepped for School initiative successfully distributed 1,700 backpacks filled with supplies to three elementary schools: Matt Kelly, Robert E. Lake, and Doris French. These supplies not only help students academically but also inspire confidence and a sense of preparedness as they begin their school year.

Project 4 Humanity’s mission is to bridge the gap for the most vulnerable in our society by providing meals, clothing, and other necessities. They work through service access barriers, assisting and connecting those in need with mainstream services. By enriching the lives of community members through nutritious food, human connections, and social support, they help individuals maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Supporting Youth Education and Development
Project 4 Humanity Youth focuses on supporting youth through various educational programs:
- After-School Programs: These programs assist youth in everyday classes and advanced courses, providing tutoring and mentorship to guide them toward a productive adulthood.
- School Supplies: They provide essential school supplies such as backpacks, pencils, pens, and more, as well as less commonly thought of items like socks and jackets, to ensure students are comfortable and well-prepared for school.
- STEM and Extra Education Courses: They hold STEM courses and other educational programs to engage youth in learning and skill development.
- Leadership and Life Skills: By involving youth in their community service events, Project 4 Humanity teaches leadership and life skills, helping them pursue their future with confidence.
